Price Alerts

Monitor a route for price drops and get notified by email, push, or SMS when fares fall below your threshold.

Overview

Price alerts watch a specific route for fare drops. Set a route, optionally set a target price, and MileIntel checks fares throughout the day. When the price drops — either below your target or by $20+ from the last check — you get notified on your chosen channel.

Setting Up a Price Alert

From search results or any trip, tap Watch Price. Configure:

  • Route — Origin and destination airports.
  • Date range — Specific dates or a flexible window (e.g., "any weekend in April").
  • Target price (optional) — Only alert when the fare drops below this amount.
  • Cabin class — Economy, premium economy, business, or first.
  • Notification channel — Email, push notification, or SMS.

How Monitoring Works

MileIntel checks fares multiple times per day. When a significant drop is detected, the alert fires with the old price, new price, airline, and a direct link to book. If you set a target price, you'll only hear from us when fares hit that number.

What You Get in the Notification

Every price alert includes: route, dates, airline, old fare, new fare, savings amount, cabin class, and a booking link. If you've already booked this route, the alert also includes the airline's refund/rebooking policy.

Key Details

  • Navigator: 3 active price alerts. Executive: 15. Black: unlimited.
  • Minimum drop threshold is $20 to avoid noise from minor fluctuations.
  • Alerts fire once per price level — you won't get spammed if the price stays low.

Tips

  1. Set flexible date ranges for the best results. A Tuesday departure might be $200 cheaper than Friday.
  2. Combine with the Price Drop Monitor on booked trips for complete coverage.
