Price Drop Monitor
Track flights for price drops and get notified when fares fall. Includes airline-specific refund policies so you know exactly what to do.
Overview
The Price Drop Monitor tracks fares on routes you care about and alerts you when prices fall. It goes beyond a basic alert — it tells you the airline's refund policy so you know whether to rebook, request a credit, or call for a fare difference refund.
How It Works
Add a route to your watch list (origin, destination, date range) and MileIntel starts tracking fares. When a drop of $20 or more is detected, you get a notification with the old price, new price, savings amount, and what action to take based on the airline's policy.
Airline Refund Policies
MileIntel stores refund policies for 15+ airlines. Some highlights:
- Southwest — Rebook anytime, difference goes to travel credit automatically.
- Delta — No change fees on main cabin and above. Rebook for a fare difference credit.
- United — No change fees on Economy and up. Basic Economy is non-refundable.
- American — No change fees except Basic Economy.
The monitor flags which policy applies to your specific ticket so you don't have to look it up.
