Alerts Overview

The Alerts page shows your active watches, triggered alerts, and notification history. Everything you're monitoring in one place.

Overview

The Alerts page is your monitoring dashboard. It shows what you're watching, what's been triggered, and the full history of every notification MileIntel has sent you. Instead of checking airline apps constantly, you set up watches and let MileIntel do the monitoring.

Page Layout

The Alerts page has three sections:

  • Active Watches — Everything you're currently monitoring. Price drops, seat availability, gate changes, status milestones, expiring assets. Each watch shows what it's tracking, when it was last checked, and its current status.
  • Triggered Alerts — Recent notifications that fired. A price dropped $85 on your LAX-NRT watch. Business class opened up on your JFK-LHR flight. Your Amex points expire in 30 days. These stay in the triggered section until you dismiss or act on them.
  • History — A chronological log of every alert sent, including the channel (email, push, SMS), timestamp, and whether you opened it. Useful for tracking what happened and when.

Setting Up Watches

You can create watches from multiple places: the trip detail page, search results, your Wallet, or directly from the Alerts page. Each watch type has specific configuration options covered in its own help article.

Key Details

  • All plans include basic alerts (gate changes, flight status). Premium watches (price drops, seat availability) require Navigator or higher.
  • Watches auto-expire after the relevant date passes (flight departs, deal ends).
  • You can pause a watch without deleting it.

Tips

  1. Review your active watches monthly. Old watches you've forgotten about create noise.
  2. Triggered alerts include an action button — use it while the opportunity is fresh.
