Notification Channels
Email, push, and SMS — how to enable each notification channel and which plans include them.
Overview
MileIntel sends notifications through three channels: email, push notifications, and SMS. Each channel serves a different purpose and urgency level, and you control which ones are active.
Email is the default channel and available on all plans. It's best for non-urgent alerts: weekly digests, price drop summaries, portfolio reports, and detailed analyses that benefit from a longer format. Emails are sent via Resend with styled HTML templates.
To enable: Enabled by default when you create your account. Manage in Settings > Notifications.Push Notifications
Push notifications go to your browser or mobile device instantly. They're ideal for time-sensitive alerts: gate changes, boarding countdowns, price drops, and upgrade availability. Push requires granting notification permission in your browser or adding MileIntel to your home screen.
To enable: Go to Settings > Notifications > Push and allow notifications when prompted. On mobile, install the PWA first.SMS
SMS is reserved for high-priority and urgent alerts only — think flight cancellations, major disruptions, or critical price drops that need immediate action. SMS is available on Executive and Black tiers.
To enable: Go to Settings > Notifications > SMS, enter your phone number, and verify with a code. SMS alerts are powered by Twilio.Channel by Plan

Tips
- Enable push notifications for anything time-sensitive. Email can sit unread for hours.
- SMS is intentionally limited to high-priority alerts to avoid text fatigue.
