Every alert MileIntel can send: upgrade available, deal match, expiring assets, price drop, status change, and more.
Overview
MileIntel sends different types of alerts depending on what's happening with your trips, loyalty accounts, and watches. Here's the complete list so you know what to expect and what to configure.
Flight Alerts
- Gate change — Your gate moved. Includes new gate, terminal, and walking time estimate.
- Delay detected — Flight delayed 15+ minutes. Shows new time and cause if known.
- Cancellation — Flight cancelled. Includes rebooking options if available.
- Boarding countdown — Reminders at T-30, T-15, and T-5 minutes before boarding.
- Schedule change — Airline changed your departure or arrival time by 30+ minutes.
Price and Availability Alerts
- Price drop — Fare fell $20+ on a watched route or booked flight.
- Upgrade available — Premium cabin opened up on a monitored flight.
- Seat available — A specific seat or seat type you're watching opened up.
- Deal match — AI found an award sweet spot or fare deal matching your travel patterns.
Loyalty Alerts
- Expiring assets — Miles, points, or certificates expiring within 30/60/90 days.
- Status milestone — You've hit a qualifying threshold or you're within striking distance.
- Balance change — Points posted, transferred, or deducted from a program.
- Transfer bonus — A transfer partner is running a bonus promotion.
Trip Alerts
- Check-in open — Your check-in window just opened.
- Document reminder — Passport, visa, or health document needed for upcoming trip.
Key Details
- Flight alerts are available on all plans. Price, availability, and deal alerts require Navigator+.
- Each type can be independently toggled and routed to specific channels.
Tips
- Enable "expiring assets" alerts on every program you have. Missing an expiration is the most avoidable way to lose value.
- Deal match alerts get better over time as MileIntel learns your travel patterns.
