Price Calendar

See the cheapest dates for any route at a glance — a visual calendar of cash prices and award availability.

Overview

If your dates are flexible, the Price Calendar is your best friend. It shows an entire month of pricing for any route, color-coded so you can instantly spot the cheapest days to fly.

How It Works

  1. Run a search for your route with any date.
  2. Tap the Calendar icon next to the date picker (or switch to "Calendar View" above results).
  3. A monthly grid appears. Each day shows the lowest available fare for that route.
  4. Days are color-coded: green for the cheapest fares, yellow for moderate, red for peak pricing. Gray means no availability data.
  5. Tap any date to load full results for that day.

Key Details

  • The calendar shows the cheapest option across all cabin classes by default. Use the cabin filter to see calendar pricing for a specific class.
  • Both cash prices and miles costs are available — toggle between them with the switch above the calendar.
  • Price data covers approximately 60 days forward. Dates beyond that show estimates based on historical patterns.
  • The calendar loads asynchronously. Dates fill in as pricing data is retrieved, typically within a few seconds.

Tips

  • Tuesday and Wednesday departures are often cheapest for domestic flights. The calendar makes this pattern obvious.
  • Look for green "islands" — a cheap day surrounded by expensive ones often means a brief fare sale or low-demand window.
  • Use the calendar for both outbound and return flights separately to build the cheapest possible round trip with mixed dates.
  • Combine with the Buy or Wait indicator — if the calendar shows today as yellow but the indicator says "Wait," prices may drop further.
