Push Notifications on Mobile
Enable push notifications on iOS and Android to get real-time alerts for gate changes, boarding, price drops, and more.
Overview
Push notifications are how MileIntel reaches you when something time-sensitive happens — a gate change 30 minutes before boarding, a price drop on a route you're watching, or a cancellation that needs immediate rebooking. Here's how to turn them on.
Enable on iOS
- Install MileIntel as a PWA first (Add to Home Screen via Safari).
- Open the MileIntel app from your home screen.
- Go to Settings > Notifications.
- Toggle Push Notifications to on.
- iOS will prompt you to allow notifications — tap Allow.
Enable on Android
- Open MileIntel in Chrome or install the PWA.
- Go to Settings > Notifications.
- Toggle Push Notifications to on.
- Android will prompt for permission — tap Allow.
What You'll Receive
- Gate changes — immediate push when your gate is reassigned.
- Boarding countdown — alerts at T-30, T-15, and T-5 minutes.
- Delays and cancellations — as soon as MileIntel detects a schedule change.
- Price drops — when a monitored route drops below your alert threshold.
- AI findings — Best Path recommendations and upgrade availability.
Key Details
- You can fine-tune which notifications you receive in Settings > Notifications. Disable categories you don't want.
- Quiet hours (default 11 PM - 7 AM local time) suppress non-urgent pushes. Urgent alerts (cancellations, major delays) still come through.
Tips
- Don't disable boarding countdown notifications. They're the single most useful alert when you're in a busy terminal.
