Extension
Install the Chrome Extension
Add the MileIntel Chrome extension to see loyalty program comparisons and point valuations directly on Google Flights and airline websites.
Overview
The MileIntel Chrome extension brings loyalty intelligence to the websites you already use. When you're browsing Google Flights or an airline's booking page, the extension overlays your miles balances, point valuations, and redemption comparisons right next to the prices you're looking at. No tab-switching required.
Steps
- Visit the MileIntel extension on the Chrome Web Store.
- Click Add to Chrome, then Add Extension in the confirmation popup.
- The MileIntel icon appears in your browser toolbar (you may need to click the puzzle piece icon to pin it).
- Click the MileIntel icon and sign in with the same Google account you use for MileIntel.
- The extension activates automatically on supported sites.
What the Extension Does
- Google Flights overlay. When you search flights on Google Flights, the extension shows how many miles each flight would cost through your loyalty programs, with a cents-per-point valuation so you can compare cash vs. points.
- Airline site enrichment. On airline booking pages (Delta, United, American, etc.), the extension highlights your current balance, estimates points earned for the booking, and flags whether paying with points is a good deal or a bad one.
- Quick balance check. Click the extension icon anytime to see a snapshot of your loyalty program balances without opening MileIntel.
Key Details
- Same account. The extension uses your MileIntel account. Sign in with the same Google account and your Wallet programs are available instantly.
- Privacy. The extension only activates on supported travel sites. It doesn't read or modify pages on other websites.
- Chrome-only for now. The extension is currently available for Google Chrome and Chromium-based browsers (Edge, Brave, Arc). Firefox and Safari extensions are on the roadmap.
- Works with any plan. The extension is available on all tiers, including the free Traveler plan.
Tips
- Pin the extension to your toolbar for quick balance checks. Right-click the MileIntel icon in the extensions menu and select "Pin."
- The extension is most useful after you've added at least one loyalty program to your Wallet. Without programs, there's nothing to compare against.
