Create a Family Group

Overview

Creating a family group takes under a minute. You'll be the group owner with full control over membership and sharing settings.

How to Create

1. Go to Settings > Family & Groups.
2. Click Create Group.
3. Name your group (e.g., "The Johnsons" or "Home Base"). This is visible to all members.
4. Click Create.

Your group is live. Now invite members.

Inviting Members

1. From the group page, click Invite Member.
2. Enter their email address. They must have a MileIntel account (or they'll be prompted to create one).
3. Choose their role — Member (can view shared data) or Admin (can also invite/remove members).
4. Click Send Invite.

The invitee receives an email and an in-app notification. They must accept the invitation before they appear in your group.

Key Details

• Group limits depend on your plan. Executive supports up to 4 members. Black supports up to 8.
• You can only belong to one family group at a time. If you're already in a group, you'll need to leave it before joining another.
• The group owner's plan determines feature access for the group. Members on lower tiers get the group-level features.

Tips

1. Make your spouse or travel partner an Admin so they can manage the group when you're not around.
2. Use a descriptive group name — it shows up in the Wallet household tab and on shared trip cards.
