Overview
The Concierge is your on-demand travel intelligence analyst. It knows your loyalty balances, your upcoming trips, your elite status, and the current state of award availability. Ask it anything and get answers tailored to your exact situation — not generic advice.
How It Works
- Open The Desk and you'll land in the Concierge chat.
- Type your question in plain language. Examples:
- "What's the best use of my 85,000 Chase points?"
- "Should I book JFK-LHR with miles or cash next month?"
- "How close am I to Delta Platinum status?"
- "What credit card should I use for dining to maximize airline miles?"
- The Concierge responds with a detailed, personalized answer. It may include rich artifacts like flight comparisons, wallet summaries, or recommendation cards.
- Follow up naturally. The conversation maintains context so you can drill deeper without repeating yourself.
Key Details
- The Concierge has read-only access to your Wallet, trip history, agent findings, and loyalty program data. It uses this context to personalize every answer.
- Responses are generated by Claude AI with MileIntel-specific training on loyalty programs, award charts, and travel strategy.
- Each message counts against your plan's token budget. The status bar shows your remaining budget.
- Conversation history is saved. You can scroll back to previous sessions from the chat sidebar.
Tips
- The more specific your question, the better the answer. "Best use of my points" is good; "Best use of my 85k United miles for a trip to Asia in business class this fall" is great.
- Ask the Concierge to explain its reasoning. It'll walk you through the math on why one redemption beats another.
- Use it before making any big redemption. A quick "Is this a good deal?" can prevent you from burning points at below-average value.
