Dark & Light Mode

Overview

MileIntel supports dark and light themes. Dark mode is the default — it's easier on the eyes during late-night travel planning and looks great on OLED screens. Switch to light mode if you prefer higher contrast during the day.

How to Toggle

From the sidebar (desktop): Click the sun/moon icon at the bottom of the sidebar. One click switches between dark and light.From Settings: Go to Settings > Appearance and choose Dark, Light, or System. The System option follows your OS preference — if your phone switches to dark mode at sunset, MileIntel will too.On mobile: Open the More menu, tap Settings, then Appearance.

What Changes

The theme affects every page — dashboard, trips, wallet, desk, and all modals. Colors, backgrounds, and chart styling all adapt. The 3D globe adjusts its lighting and arc colors for readability in both modes.

• Your theme preference syncs across devices via your account. Set it once and it follows you from laptop to phone.
• The theme transition is instant with no page reload.
• Maps and the terminal map in TCC use a dark basemap in dark mode and a light basemap in light mode.

Tips

1. If you travel across time zones often, use the System setting — your theme will always match your local conditions.
