Overview
Filters let you cut through noise and find exactly the flights you want. Whether you need a nonstop red-eye in business class or the cheapest one-stop option on a specific airline, filters get you there fast.
Available Filters
- Cabin Class — Economy, Premium Economy, Business, First. Select one or multiple.
- Stops — Nonstop, 1 stop, 2+ stops. Nonstop is the default for routes under 3 hours.
- Price Range — Set minimum and maximum for cash price or miles cost. Drag the slider or type exact amounts.
- Airlines — Filter to specific carriers. Useful when you want to earn miles in a particular program or prefer certain products.
- Departure Time — Morning (6am-12pm), Afternoon (12pm-6pm), Evening (6pm-12am), Red-eye (12am-6am). Select one or more windows.
- Duration — Set a maximum flight duration to filter out excessively long routings.
How It Works
- Tap the Filters button (funnel icon) below the search bar or next to the intent chips.
- The filter panel slides open. Adjust any combination of filters.
- Results update in real-time as you change filters. The count badge shows how many results match.
- Tap Reset to clear all filters and return to unfiltered results.
Key Details
- Active filters are mirrored as intent chips above the results.
- Filters persist across searches on the same route. Changing your route resets filters.
- If no results match your filters, MileIntel suggests which filter to relax first.
Tips
- Start broad and narrow down. Applying too many filters at once might hide good options.
- Use the airline filter strategically — filtering to alliance partners can reveal award availability you'd miss otherwise.
- The duration filter is your best friend for long-haul routes where some connections add 6+ hours.
