Card Management
Add, edit, and organize your credit cards in MileIntel. Use card templates for quick setup and keep your wallet current.
Overview
Card Management is where you set up and maintain the credit cards that power MileIntel's optimization features. The more accurate your card data, the better the optimizer, expense tracker, and earning calculations work.
Adding a Card
Go to Dashboard > Cards and tap Add Card. You can start from scratch or pick a template. Enter the card name, issuer, reward program, annual fee, and earning rates per category. You don't enter your card number — MileIntel only needs the reward structure.
Card Templates
Templates cover 10+ popular cards with pre-filled earning rates, benefits, and lounge access:
- Chase Sapphire Preferred / Reserve
- Amex Gold / Platinum
- Capital One Venture X
- Citi Strata Premier
- Delta SkyMiles cards
- United Explorer / Club Infinite
- And more
Select a template and the multipliers, benefits, and lounge networks auto-populate. You can customize anything after selection.
Editing and Removing
Tap any card to edit its details. If a card's earning rates change (they do — issuers update quarterly), update the multipliers so your optimization stays accurate. Remove cards you've closed to keep your wallet clean.
Key Details
- Card management is available on all plans, including Traveler.
- The Credit Card Optimizer (Navigator+) uses your card data for recommendations.
- The Expense Tracker uses your card selection to calculate points earned per purchase.
Tips
- Start with templates — they save significant setup time and are kept up to date.
- Set a quarterly reminder to review your cards. Issuers rotate bonus categories without warning.
