The Welcome Tour
A quick guided walkthrough of MileIntel's key features — Dashboard, Wallet, Search, Agents, and the Travel Command Center.
Overview
When you first sign in to MileIntel, a guided tour walks you through the main sections of the app. It takes about 60 seconds and gives you a mental map of where everything lives. If you skip it or want to see it again, you can replay it anytime from Settings.
What the Tour Covers
The welcome tour hits five stops:
- Dashboard — Your home base. Active trips, upcoming flights, recent alerts, and quick-glance loyalty balances. Everything important surfaces here.
- Wallet — Where your loyalty programs live. Miles balances, elite status tiers, points currencies. The tour shows you how to add your first program.
- Search — Award search and pricing tools. The tour introduces how MileIntel searches across your loyalty programs to find the best redemption for a given route.
- Agents — AI-powered background workers that monitor prices, scan for upgrades, and surface findings. The tour explains how agents run on your behalf without you needing to do anything.
- Travel Command Center (TCC) — The real-time trip companion. Gate navigation, lounge recommendations, dining options, disruption handling. The tour previews what activates when you have a live trip.
How to Replay the Tour
- Go to Settings from the sidebar (gear icon).
- Scroll to the General section.
- Click Replay Welcome Tour.
- The tour starts from the Dashboard and walks through all five stops again.
Key Details
- Non-blocking. You can exit the tour at any step by clicking the X or clicking outside the tooltip. Nothing breaks if you skip it.
- One-time by default. The tour shows automatically on your first sign-in only. After that, it's manual replay from Settings.
- Desktop optimized. The tour is designed for the desktop layout. On mobile, you'll still see it, but the full sidebar navigation is condensed into the mobile menu.
Tips
- Even if you're the type to skip tutorials, the Agents stop is worth watching. Agents are MileIntel's most powerful feature and the concept isn't immediately obvious from the UI alone.
