Action Approvals
When agents need your go-ahead before taking action — review, approve, or reject proposed moves.
Overview
Some agent actions need your approval before they execute. MileIntel's agents are smart, but they never make irreversible decisions on your behalf without asking first. Action Approvals is where you review and greenlight (or reject) proposed moves.
How It Works
- When an agent determines that an action is warranted — like setting a price alert, recommending a specific booking window, or suggesting a point transfer — it creates an approval request.
- You'll receive a notification (push, email, or both) with the proposed action.
- Go to The Desk > Approvals to review pending items.
- Each approval shows:
- Proposed Action — What the agent wants to do.
- Reasoning — Why it's recommending this action, with supporting data.
- Impact — What happens if you approve (e.g., "Sets a price alert for SFO-NRT below $800").
- Urgency — How time-sensitive the opportunity is.
- Tap Approve to let the agent proceed, or Reject to cancel. You can also modify the parameters before approving.
Key Details
- Approvals have an expiration window. If you don't act within the timeframe (shown on each approval), the request expires automatically. The agent may submit a new request if the opportunity persists.
- Read-only actions (like monitoring and analysis) never require approval. Only actions that could affect your account, trigger alerts, or involve financial decisions need your sign-off.
- You can configure approval sensitivity per agent — some users prefer to approve everything, others only want to be asked for high-stakes actions.
Tips
- Enable push notifications for approvals so you don't miss time-sensitive ones.
- If you find yourself approving everything from a particular agent, consider lowering its approval threshold so routine actions proceed automatically.
- Review the reasoning section carefully — it shows the data the agent used to make its recommendation.
