Credit Cards in the Wallet
Manage your credit cards within the Wallet — track rewards, optimize spend categories, and compare card benefits.
Overview
The Cards tab in your Wallet is where you manage your credit cards and get recommendations on which card to use for every purchase. MileIntel knows the earning structures of major travel cards and tells you how to maximize your return.
Steps
- Go to Wallet > Cards to see all your registered credit cards.
- Tap Add Card and select from the template library — MileIntel has pre-loaded earning structures for popular cards like Chase Sapphire Reserve, Amex Gold, Capital One Venture X, and more.
- Once added, each card shows its earning rates by category (dining, travel, groceries, etc.) and your estimated annual rewards value.
How It Works
MileIntel maintains a database of card earning structures, sign-up bonuses, annual fees, and perks. When you add a card, the system maps its earning rates to your actual spending patterns (if you share them) to estimate your real return. The optimizer then compares across your cards to recommend the best one for each spending category.
Key Details
- 10+ card templates are pre-loaded with current earning rates and benefits.
- Lounge access networks (Priority Pass, Centurion, etc.) are mapped per card.
- Category multiplier optimization tells you which card earns the most in each spending category.
- Annual fee analysis shows whether each card's benefits justify its cost based on your usage.
Tips
- The card optimizer is only as good as the cards you've added. Register all your active cards for the best recommendations.
- Review the "Best Card For" breakdown — many people leave significant rewards on the table by using the wrong card for dining or travel purchases.
- When a new card launches or earning rates change, MileIntel updates templates automatically.
